Twig Hair Lounge is a Beauty Organization that is dedicated to helping each one of our guests achieve confidence and self love through beauty. In a post Covid world we need all the self love and confidence we can get. The world doesn’t work the same way it did pre 2020. The way we see things has been shaken. Self care & mental wellness is more important now than ever before!
Tricia Gray The new owner of Twig Hair Lounge knows this too well. After working in the corporate beauty industry for 12 years she had a moment of clarity and realized that her life didn’t have to be all stress all the time (imagine that!). She quit her job with no back up and began her journey of self discovery. She enrolled in a one year Somatic (Feeling through body awareness) coaching program. Through this program she learned how to share her gifts of healing with others and enjoyed watching her clients “Glow Up”. A common theme that all of her clients seemed to have was huge amounts of pressure and stress in their jobs, especially the women.
By nurturing and coaching her employees Tricia has been able to build a business that is able to provide the ultimate guest experience. Caring and kindness always leads the way at Twig Hair Lounge and employees treated with respect and kindness will treat their guests with respect and kindness. You may notice that it’s quiet in the salon lately. This is because we take our time in finding the right people to work here. We want to make sure that each person is a great fit for this team and for our guests. This is a slow process that will take some time, so bear with us. It’s for all of our benefit!
They felt insecure, frazzled, frustrated, unappreciated and spread way too thin between work and home responsibilities. She became passionate about employees in the workplace. She wanted to build a safe, happy, drama free space for her employees, where they could thrive, feel supported, and most of all appreciated. She believes that her employees are her biggest asset and respects them as human beings before employees. Everyone is an individual with real life problems, families, and goals. Tricia believe’s that it is her responsibility as a business owner to help grow and develop and nurture everyone within her organization.
Ultimately, our goal at Twig is for every one of our guests to walk out feeling better than when they walked in. We want our building to be a vortex of self love and confidence for all that enter. Something as simple as a fresh cut, color or blowout can completely change how you feel about yourself. Our goal is to have everyone in your life drooling over your hair. Our Designers are well trained and some of the best in the industry. We provide access to in-salon education through Directors, mentors and independent educators to keep us fresh and up-to-date on the latest trends you are looking for. We also venture outside the salon to some of the top educational programs in the industry.
As a formerly (and sometimes still) shy person, Tricia understands that walking into a salon where everyone seems way too cool and cliquey can give some of us some level of anxiety. As a culture built on kindness, inclusivity goes hand and hand with kindness and respect. We are an all inclusive salon and welcome everyone with kindness and respect. We are friendly, approachable and honest. We educate you, our guests, on the best ways to take care of your hair and maintain your beauty in-between visits. The information we share with you is to educate you on your hair and its needs, not to push sales. We educate you and allow you to make the decision for yourself. No pressure! Our main goal is for our guests to feel confident and empowered in your day to day life.
