You can take the girl out of Chicago... but you can't take Chicago out of the girl!  Jennifer began apprenticing at the age of 15, and fell deep in love with hair design.  With a passion for the industry, love of mentoring, and desire to continue to grow... she opened TWIG hair lounge. 

As a designer, Jennifer loves to create a custom look that fits your faceshape, lifestyle and personality.  Razor cutting and dry cutting are among her favorite techniques.  Be prepared to have really healthy hair while in Jen's care, it is a must!

renee

Renee comes to TWIG with lots of experience in the fashion industry.  She has an eye for design and it shows in her own sense of style.  Born and raised in North County, she has a natural attraction to those whom are part mermaid or merman.  If you require a style that can easily go from the beach to conference room, let Renee customize your look for all your personalities.  Do you remember those sunkissed pieces you used to get from the sun?  Or perhaps before grey popped up?  Renee loves to accent her haircuts with eye-catching blends of colors and creative placement.  Beach-goers, if you need a shine, volume, moisture, or repair treatment - Let Renee treat your hair (and soul) to a pampering service.

Jessica joins TWIG with vast training in Vidal Sassoon cutting methods.  She has a love for the perfect bob. Whether classic or edgy, Jessica customizes your signature shape with precision, balance, and complimenting colour.  Her attention to detail and personal service is a sincere treat.

Eyebrow shaping is an art form that Jessica offers as well.  Give your eyes an instant lift with a simple brow wax.

ley ann

Raised in North County, LeyAnn completed her training at Paul Mitchel the School in San Diego.  She excels at long hair, mens design, formal styles and blowouts.  She continues to further her knowledge and challenge herself by attending advanced TWIG education.  Her fresh budding talent is one you sure want to watch grow.  For brides - this is your go-to gal:: with a love for romantic and timeless up-sweeps, you will feel like the bride on the cover of a wedding magazine.

amberlee

Making her first steps into the industry as a makeup artist, Amberlee has a very developed eye for design.  After years of working with makeup, she decided to venture into playing with hair as her new canvas.  "My favorite client is the one whom walks in feeling blah, color is off, and the cut is just so, so.  I LOVE transforming their color so their skin glows and their eyes pop!  Next, shifting the cut to accent their best features, then teaching them to style it so they can duplicate it at home."  When you look good, you feel good.  Experience what this "transformation expert" can do for you.

Bringing years of experience to the team, Jeri knows many "tricks of the trade".  Her most favorite service to provide is highlighting.  Whether you have become too blonde and need to add dimension or if you desire a more eye-catching weave, Jeri is the queen!  As a dimensional colour expert, she has an eye for blending colours together that make your hair look like it did when you were a child... remember those 'natural' highlights you used to get from the sun?  It is time to make your hair look as youthful as it once did, and Jeri is just the lady to make it happen!

megan

Raised in North County, Megan spread her wings and completed advanced trained in Huntington Beach.  Homesick and missing SoCal, we were lucky enough to land Megan here at TWIG.  Her positive energy and willingness to take on a challenge makes her a great asset. 

Megan enjoys a day with variety... anything from a bob with multi-dimensional colors, to curly hair, to men's cuts.  Her absolute favorites are BIG hair and bridal parties. 

Known as our 'hair therapist',  Megan is great at hair interventions, putting your sorry stands into boot-camp, and bringing them back to life!

Originally from North County, Ashley ventured out to Minnesota and decided to come back to So Cal before another winter arrived.  With many years experience behind the chair, Ashley enjoys colour the most.  She has a great eye for balancing out skin tone and enhancing your best features.  For blondes, you haven't seen a more beautiful blonde than an Ashley original... a silky, multi-dimensional, shimmery blonde that makes your eyes sparkle... really!  Her experience has also made her an expert with long hair, while maintaining volume, body and health.  If you need a dimensional colour expert... Ashley is your gal!

Watch Courtney work from across the room and you will be amazed at how effortless she makes it look.  With a complete understanding of how and why hair works the way it does, it is like she is reading your hair's mind.  This Oregon native enjoys finding ways to make your hair best compliment you.  If you want to really make Courtney giggle... just ask her to "do whatever you think looks best".   She is ready to WOW you, just say the word! 

If your colour seems to be a little bit off or a complete disaster, Courtney is just the gal to make it right.  As our corrective colour specialist, she is great at defining limitations to what your hair is capable of.  Lifestyle, budget, skin tone, and maintenance are also a focus when taking on colour, big or small.  No doubt, your colour is awesome hands with Courtney!

miranda

Yee-haw!  Born and raised in Texas, Miranda likes to keep it natural.  If you desire a 'natural' style and colour, you have found the best!  Miranda excels at well constructed cuts and understands how to put architecture into your hairstyle.  Full of ideas, this creative Pisces - likes to keep colour youthful and reflective of what happens as the seasons change.

Originally from Oregon, this gal has a passion for design.  She graduated from Fashion Design College  (San Diego).  Violet will be undergoing the "apprentice " program and training under the many talented designers of TWIG.

Local gal Chan-Chan just received her associates degree in liberal arts and is currently pursuing her esthetician license.  With a vast background in makeup and design of all sorts, this talented lady brings a little something extra special to TWIG.  If you have an idea for something you would like to see on the shelves at TWIG, Chaning would love to hear your suggestion!
